Community Service

Several times a year students participate in community service on the weekend. They divide up into groups and help out in various areas in the community. Some of the activities they do include helping out at the local retirement home, singing for community events, cleaning up local parks and public areas and tutoring neighborhood students.

Individuals and smalls groups of Delphi students have participated in more major community service activities such as building houses for Habitat for Humanity and building facilities for impoverished people in Guatemala, and running educational seminars in rural Mississippi.

Delphi has received hundreds of letters from both the community and non-profit organizations, thanking the students for the great work they've done.
